Post 2 - Update
When I started with wanting to lose the weight back in August, I had started out at what I thought was 280, but not long after that post I weighed myself and I was down to 270, which meant I had lost 10 pounds in about two months. I decided to track all my food using FitnessPal and follow what they thought I should be eating at daily and add exercise in the mix. I would cheat a full day every week at the least and at the end of September, I hadn't lost a single pound with exercise (Zumba like exercises for 30 minutes, 2-3 times a week) and eating healthier. I am thinking that my good days just evened out my bad days since I'd cheat so hard.
I decided to start the Primal Blueprint diet, as my boyfriend Larry had great success doing it. I have been doing it for twelve days and I feel pretty good. Last week I had what they call the carb flu and I felt pretty awful detoxing from the sugars and grains. On day 6 or 7 I started feeling a lot better. So far, I have felt great, had more energy, had a decrease in blood sugars, had very little stomach issues and from someone who has IBS, it's huge to go a long time without stomach issues. I am thinking I will weigh myself within the next few days and see if I have lost any weight so far. For the time being, I wanted to include some pics.

My Goals
I felt that maybe if I started a public diary of going from fat to where I want to be, it would be somewhat motivational for me (and when I have readers, them as well). I have been always chubby from what I can remember, but when I officially knew I was fat was in high school. I had gone through some family issues and I dealt with it by binging. I had gone from an overweight teen to a fat teen, now in the 200's. Over the years, I've discovered lots of other foods and binged a bunch more. I was told I was diabetic in my mid 20's and haven't done drastic moves to change it. At my heaviest, I was in my 350's. In November 2012 I decided to start getting a grip on what's going on with my body and went to the doctor's. I had lost some weight over time (about 50 pounds) and not sure if it was small changes, the diabetes (according to my doc you can lose weight if your sugars are super high), or both. I still have not made long term strides to this date. I am nearing 30 and along with other things, I am ready to make some changes. I am currently around 280 pounds (I will give an exact number when I find out again) and am ready to start trying to become fit. I don't strive to be a super skinny, but here are the goals:
1. Reverse the Diabetes. I'm type 2 and according to my doctor, I can reverse this if I work at it.
2. Lose some weight of course. I said recently as a joke that I wish my stomach was as flat as my ass. I would like to make that goal happen for real. I will put this in two goals ... 30 pounds (hit 250) and 51 pounds (hit 199) and from there, we'll see.
I feel like this weight is causing so many issues and hovering over me like a black cloud. I don't feel good, I feel I don't look good, and it's effecting my health above all else.
I have included a few pics below of what I currently am looking like. Here's to starting a new chapter!
